Hometown Freebies website developed to help businesses promote themselves.

Hometown Freebies is a free business listing website with tools small businesses can use to promote themselves at no cost. After registering on the site, businesses are able to post valuable offers or discounts easily (i.e. “kids eat free”, “buy-one-get-one”, “20% off wedding photography packages”, etc). Businesses are automatically listed in the Hometown Freebies local business directory and receive a free basic webpage highlighting their business. No cost or work is required for these free services! Business have the option to extend their webpage with Facebook integration, custom information and graphics, added search engine optimization, etc. for a minimal fee.

Hometown Freebies.com contains business registration, login, and post management. Valuable offers are automatically organized and displayed based on chosen active date. Businesses control all aspects of their offers. Offers automatically integrate Facebook and Twitter links for easy sharing. Site management tools for administrator also developed for verifying and approving businesses, viewing business and offer data, deleting businesses or offers, filtering information, and managing users raised “flags”. Google ads and a sponsorship page integrated into site with similar look and feel to site design.

The mission of Hometown Freebies is to provide free tools to local and small businesses around the nation for helping promote their products and services. These offers then bring cost savings to consumers in this tough economy. Hometown Freebies is also using a percentage of all revenue generated through Google ads and extended services to give to charitable needs.
